Habi is a digital platform for Landlords and Tenants in Dubai to manage rental contracts online. It allows users to create, sign, and renew RERA-compliant leases online, track important dates, get rent reminders, and apply for Ejari — all in one place.
Habi is built for anyone renting or managing residential property in Dubai — whether you’re a Landlord handling multiple units or a Tenant looking for a simple and convenient way to renew a lease. If you’re involved in a long-term rental, Habi helps you manage everything digitally and effortlessly.
To get started with Habi, visit app.habi.ae and sign up using your email address, UAE Pass, or Google. Once registered, you can immediately begin creating tenancy contracts. Landlords can also add their existing tenancy contracts to benefit from automated reminders, rental income tracking, and other built-in property management tools that simplify rental oversight.
Log in to your Habi account, navigate to the Leases section, and click on Create Contract. Follow the guided steps to enter property details, tenant information, and contract terms. The platform will generate a RERA-compliant tenancy contract ready for e-signature.
Currently, Habi allows you to create tenancy contracts for residential properties only. Support for commercial properties is under development and will be available soon.
After preparing and reviewing the contract, enter your tenant’s email address when prompted. Habi will send them an invitation email with instructions to register and sign the contract electronically.
You don’t need to set anything; our system automatically schedules all reminders once the contract becomes active. You’ll receive email reminders about upcoming rent payments and 90-day renewal notices 5 days in advance and on the day of the event.
No, once all parties have signed the contract, it becomes legally binding and cannot be edited. If changes are needed, you can draft a new contract to reflect the updated terms.
Yes, when creating a tenancy contract on Habi, you’ll be prompted to add an addendum. Here, you can specify additional conditions beyond the standard Ejari tenancy contract terms, such as responsibilities, furnishings, penalties, and custom clauses.
While Habi facilitates the creation and signing of contracts, you need to register your tenancy contract with Ejari separately through Dubai REST (by the landlord) or an authorized Ejari typing center.
Ask your tenant to check their spam or junk mail folders. Ensure you’ve entered the correct email address. Your tenant can also register directly on Habi using the email address you provided.
Yes, Habi utilizes built-in DocuSign functionality, including the Print & Sign feature. After clicking Review and Sign and viewing the document, open the Other Actions menu, select Print & Sign, and follow the instructions.
Navigate to the Properties section, open the property you wish to remove, click on the three dots in the top right corner, and select Delete. Note that properties linked to active contracts cannot be deleted.
A tenancy contract is essentially the same for both new leases and renewals. Whether you’re initiating a new lease or renewing an existing one, you’ll need to create a new tenancy contract for the renewal process.
Yes, tenants need a Habi account to review and sign a tenancy contract. Creating an account is quick and easy, taking less than a minute. You can register via the invitation link sent to your email or directly on Habi using your email address, UAE Pass, or Google.
Click the link in the invitation email and follow the instructions to sign up on Habi. Once registered, you can access the contract, review it carefully, and if you agree, proceed to electronically sign it.
Check your spam or junk mail folders. If it’s not there, ask your landlord to verify your email address and resend the invitation. You can also register directly on Habi using the email address your landlord provided.

We believe every landlord and tenant should have access to simple, digital & legal rental tools — without extra costs. Instead of charging tenants or landlords for that, we plan to introduce premium features in the future to help manage rentals even more efficiently.
